"Trinity Launches New Government Solution"

Trinity Video Communications plans to showcase its new family of TeleReach video solutions for the federal government at FOSE March 10-12, 2009 in Washington, D.C. According to the company, the solutions are designed to deliver a high-quality AV experience regardless of system classification, room dimensions, or videoconferencing bandwidth, and can be customized to fit any application.

The TeleReach Touch provides secure videoconferencing that encompasses both the video endpoint and the video network, company officials said. As video becomes a more important command-and-control tool for federal agencies, the risk of inadvertent or malicious compromise also rises, the company says.

The TeleReach Touch provides access control, audit controls, and the capturing and logging of sensitive operations as a tunable part of the network's security infrastructure. Trinity Video will showcase the Multi-Enclave configuration of the TeleReach Touch, which provides separation and security in a triple-classification environment.

The TeleReach VisionWall delivers flexible display solutions for whatever application is required of a room. The Scalable VisionWall allows users to set presets for standard videoconferencing, telepresence, or local presentations, without being restricted by the size of a single monitor. Trinity Video Communications, Inc. announces that it was named Polycom Federal’s largest Tier-2 Reseller for 2008.

Built on the strength of its relationship with the FBI, which continues to grow its requirements for videoconferencing both horizontally across different system types, as well as vertically across different mission areas, Trinity upgraded multiple networks to newer codec and infrastructure platforms. As technology and requirements both continue to grow at a very rapid pace, Trinity will continue to maintain its technological leadership position to help equip the FBI to fight against our common enemies.

"Trinity Video might add 15 jobs"

Trinity Video Communications is a Louisville-based firm that provides audio/video services to government agencies and corporate clients across the United States.

The company has 18 employees in its Louisville office at 11400 Decimal Drive and an equal number in a satellite office in Sterling, VA.

An increased demand for Trinity’s services, particularly videoconferencing, have the company considering expansions, according to company president Barry Sawayer and plans filed with the KEDFA board.

More companies are cutting down on out-of-town meetings to reduce costs, he said.

Trinity is considering an investment of $2 million to build a new facility, the plans said. The expansion would create 15 jobs with an annual payroll of $765,000.

Sawayer said the company is considering two East End sites for expansion. He declined to identify them.

Trinity received preliminary approval for $300,000 in state tax incentives for up to 10 years.

KEDFA also approved the company for $66,000 in state sales tax refunds to offset its construction costs.

Without the incentives, Sawayer said, Trinity would have to consider “other alternatives,” including relocation from Louisville to another state.

“We want to grow here in Louisville,” he said.

TRINITY VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHES THE FIRST SECURE VIDEOCONFERENCING SYSTEM FOR POLYCOM SYSTEMS

Trinity Video Communications, Inc. (Trinity) plans on launching the first Secure Videoconferencing System designed for Polycom at the FOSE Show from April 1-3 at the Washington DC Convention Center.

This system was developed with significant input from the FBI and is now in over 100 locations throughout the FBI. Barry Sawayer, President of Trinity Video Communications, says; “customer focus has always been on securing their networks, not their endpoints.” This new patent-pending touchscreen system using Trinity’s new GUI, “The Trinity Touch™”, provides access control, audit controls, captures and logs security sensitive operations, and automatically cleanses outdated/broken codecs.

“We have worked very hard with Polycom’s API programming staff in Austin, TX over the last 2 ½ years to achieve full interoperability with their codec.” says Sawayer. “So, as Polycom upgrades their software, so do we. It is important that we stay in step. Shortly, we will introduce our Secure Multi-Enclave (codec) configuration. Most secure conference rooms today have 3 or more codecs and they have to be kept separate and totally isolated from each other. Our system will assure that.”

The Trinity Touch™ GUI is extremely user friendly, emulates all of Polycom’s screens, manages most audio/video peripheral equipment (including computer input), ensures logical operations, eliminates all remote controls, and takes live video feeds to the touch screen.

“It truly is a complete multi-media presentation system,” says Sawayer. “If it is not being used for videoconferencing, it can be used for PowerPoint presentations, training videos, movies and any computer input displays. It truly is an A/V and VTC solution, all in one.”

While James Bond's tech-savvy sidekick has provided Agent 007 with an arsenal of often unrealistic gadgets over the decades, one Louisville company has landed a hefty contract with the FBI for its real-life technologies.

Trinity Video Communications Inc. has signed a five-year, $40 million contract to provide secure audio/visual and videoconferencing equipment, as well as installation and support, throughout the FBI, including all 56 of its branch offices nationwide.
