GSA halts addition of new professional services vendors

The General Services Administration (GSA), an independent agency of the United States Government established to help manage and support the basic functioning of federal agencies, has announced it will temporarily stop accepting new vendors to its professional services schedule, as the agency works to revamp its current program.

“In the short term, this move by the GSA places a premium on those companies with existing GSA Schedules, like Trinity Video, which is advantageous when working in such a competitive space,” says Dave Heller, AVP at Trinity Video Communications. “I’m very interested to see how the program is re-tooled. It goes without saying, the GSA has a big task ahead of them.”
